Thanks Michael... It was a greyish day overall... the HDR enhanced the sky and the shadow details quite nice... I wanted it to have a "natural" look..

Here's one I shot of a rusty old water tower. Using the HDR function on my D600 with the differential set to 3 EV. In my limited experience, seems like overcast days lend themselves better to HDR.
