Horoscope Fish, Hey Paul, you sure manage to get some interesting shots, but even more it sure seems like a good life to see/be involved in so many different artistic disciplines. :cheerful:

Well my job is not the most exciting, and it's certainly not glamorous, but it's low stress and the pay is decent so I'm not complaining. I would have to say being surrounded by so many artists and so many young people on a daily basis is definitely one of the best things about my job. My struggle with photography is the the extent of my artistic pursuits, and I very much enjoy documenting the process of creating art, which I often enjoy as much or more as I do the final product. That's where I'm trying to get with the ballet dancers I've been shooting lately, though I don't feel I'm quite there yet. But, as I'm fond of saying, "It's a process, not an event."

where did you shoot this Paul??
Most of my wildlife shots are taken at the San Diego Safari Park (aka The Wild Animal Park) here in Escondido (my girlfriend and I have annual passes). As I was taking this shot, I was being accosted by a Bald Southern Ibis who seemed convinced I had treats in my pockets or... Something.

If you're ever down this way and want to check it out we have some guest passes that would save you the $54 (adult) admission.
