Histogram in the shooting screens

Hi, after having tampered with control and custom settings, I realized that the histogram did not show up in the back screen nor in the Lv. I therefore went through a reset and the histogram was back on. After changing the settings one. Y one, I found the bug or the not proper setting. If you set the “starlight” view option su ON the histogram disappear. Turn it OFF and the histogram will pop up correctly once more. Hope this helps. Happy shooting. Max
PS I hope that Nikon could address this in the next FW or SW release.

I have the same problem, although for me on a Z50II (firmware 1.03, and then upgraded to 1.04), it was not the starlight setting, it was a10 View Mode. I had it set to Adjust for ease of viewing and the Histogram disappeared. Changing 'Show effects of settings' bought the Histogram back. d19 Custom monitor shooting display was configured with a histogram (and showed in its settings.

While it's great for the forum to post this here we don't have a "connection" to Nikon so in addition to your helpful post here I would recommend you let Nikon know by using the support link on your country's web site, this will let the folks who can change it know what you like.

All the best and welcome
