I was looking over some scans of negatives I started 18 years ago. I still have all of my high school photography class projects from 1982. Now I am not really proud of any of it. I pretty much was slapped down by my teacher who did not really like my work. Forty years later, yeah it was mostly crap.
But here are some photos I pulled out because of what I attempted.
About mid-way through the term I read a magazine article about making multi-exposure sci-fi photos. I checked out a camera from the school for an overnight. I used my models and used fluorescent paint to make laser beams, crumpled paper to look like fiery explosions. Made a star-field by poking holes in paper. I even bought color print film. However the button for skipping the film-advance did not seem to work well and I wound up with the film moving between my multi-exposures.
Two examples
And just 1 class-time photo. I had very few good compositions back then, but this would qualify as one of the better images.
I believe these were taken with a Pentax K-1000. All manual camera with just an electronic meter in the viewfinder to help get exposure.
