Hi from Oklahoma

Heyeveryone, new to this site. I am just now learning how to use the camera my wife has. I bought my wife a Nikon D3100 about a year ago. Shedid not like the comfort feeling and the "dull" look of the plainstrap that came with it. She is a very crafty woman and is very talented. Shestarted making Camera Strap Covers as a hobby a couple of months ago, now shewants to begin to market them. She already has different styles and makes a newstyle every other day it seems. We just launched our website, listed below.Kind of want to get some feedback if there truly is a market for these. We havealready sold 4 just by word of mouth around town. Take a look, and buy one! Letme know what you all think (I know the website looks basic, but its a work inprogress, I really need impact on what you think about the camera strap covers)

Hello Blake and welcome to Nikonites. I'm over in Sapulpa so we are fairly close to each other. I'm an upholstery guy and have thought for a long time about making straps themselves. For several years now people have been using Nikon and Canon straps and sewing materials over them and then remarketing them. I can't remember the name of this one gal but I have one of her straps around here somewhere and she has making these things forever. Just a few years back she was getting 60 bucks a piece for them but lately I have seen her prices fall big time. I suppose it is because everyone has copied her idea and these strap companies are everywhere now. So not to discourage you but the competition is going to be fierce. You'll have to find somehow to make your straps stand above the rest.
