Help with Sunset and Sunrise photos please

Don't forget about HDR. HDR images do not have to look like you've landed on a distant planet with revised laws of physics, you can make them look very natural and you won't have to buy any filters or filter holders (assuming you have a program that will merge images, that is...).

Thanks for the advice in the above two posts about the filters I now understand a little more about them.

And MrF I am going to a place called Salou and its about 70 miles south of Barcelona and that's I think is on the east coast of northern Spain

It should be beautiful there. You won't have to worry about sunsets over the water, but if you're a glutton for punishment you could go for some sunrises. :)

Yes I agree with it situated on the east coast there will not be sunsets over the water. But I might get a nice one overland.

I see you are in East Yorkshire, plenty of opportunity to get some sunrises there over water. I will be in Reighton next week for a day, one of my favourite coastal areas. My entry for this month's challenge was taken there last month.

Yes I live in East Yorkshire but I don't get a lot of opportunity to get to the coast that often
