ARGHHH! I just bloody went and ordered a D7100. I feel guilty like I've committed a crime or something. All my life I've been a frugal saver until I took up this hobby, damn NAS!

you wont regret it , ive read nikon d7100 for dummies about four times now and ill read it another 4 before i upgrade my camera in four or five years , i recommend knowing your camera that well , id still get the 11-16 when you can afford it over a longer lens , for the time being you can just crop heavier the 7100 will allow that

Congrats on the d7100.

Id recommed putting a Sigma 17-50 2.8 in front of it for landscapes as an alternative to an ultra wide. The ultra wides can be fun but are of limited use IMO.

Congratulations Elliot! I went from a D3100 to the D7100 just over a year ago, and I haven't looked back. The D3xxx are great cameras, but the extra features on the D7100 are great - You will love it!

Yes, I spoke to them on the phone first and from what I've read about them on here and elsewhere they seem like a good company.
