I've been browsing the forum for a month or so, and now I've got my new camera, I decided it was time to join and say hello!
I'm fairly new to photography - After taking more and more snaps with my camera phone while walking the dogs etc, I decided I wanted more... That's when I persuaded my Mum to lend me her D70 for a few weeks to see how I got on.
After shopping around and looking at different models, my wife has made me the proud new owner of a D3100 with the 18-55VR lens and I love it!
I'll look forward to reading on your experiences and chipping in where I can!
By the way, I'm located in York, UK.
