Good Afternoon,
I've been meaning to become part of a photography forum for a bit of time. I'm a hobbyist / enthusiast.... I take pictures of stuff (sometimes, they're bad enough that it's more "at" stuff than "of" them). I know that I have a LOT to learn about taking photographs. I find myself a fan of manual focus, and lean heavily toward the older AI / AI-S / D lenses. I'm waiting on a split focus screen for my D5300, and hope to also learn about some lens repair / conversion. While I understand the latter tend to be steep learning curves with an expectation of 'high cost experiential learning opportunities,' it is what it is. I've always wanted to take things apart of base components to gain functional understanding.
Anyway, Hi.
