Hi Everyone,
I joined this forum a few months ago after I bought my D5100, I stepped up from a 9 year old Sony DSC Cybershot. My wife signed me up for a photography class this month and I have been hooked ever since. Who knew photography was this engaging? About halfway into the class and spending time with a friend who is a professional who quickly showed me the ropes, I realized I needed a camera with more functionality and capabilities. The D5100 was good for a minute, but I quickly grew out of it. I upgraded to the D7000 this week and can't wait to get it this Friday. I look forward to learning as much as possible about this great hobby from the forum.
