Hello from Prince Edward Island, Canada/Z6II and cannot get the sub selector to move my focus point.

Hi, I am new to the forums. I have a new to me a Z6II and I cannot get the sub selector to work and move my focus point. Is there something that needs to be turned on? It worked once and now I cannot get it to work again.

I have enjoyed working with cameras for a few years and look forward to reading about experiences others have had.

Do you have the focus area set to auto?

From the online manual:

"The sub-selector can be used to choose the focus point when an option other than [Auto-area AF], [Auto-area AF (people)], and [Auto-area AF (animals)] is selected for AF-area mode (AF-Area Mode)."
