Hi all.. Newbie here....I have just crossed back from the dark side..CANON..Overated !
Now a dedicated Nikonian..
Recently purchased a D7000 :adoration: and a few lenses to go with a D90 which i have had for some time.
Looking forward to learning how to drive my new cam and taking some gr8 shots.
Some advice needed also.
I am considering my flash needs..looking at the SB700 but having been on Ken Rockwell's site recently,
iam convinced that a SB400 will do the trick.
Any feedback welcome.

The SB-700 offers Creative Lighting System capability, where as the SB-400 doesn't.

It depends on what your needs are for flash. If it is portability and occasional fill flash use, you might be able to get by with the SB-400. Check out this thread for additional conversation that might be helpful.
