Just got a call, in my country we have this huge music festival, very popular and people come from many countries to be there, camping and all. Almost 200 different bands playing, some very known. If I would take 150 pictures of different people at the festival (not bands), I would get a ticket. Pictures should be delivered within 2 weeks after.

There are some bands coming who I love, but I am not the biggest festival fan, I worked at music venues since I was 18 and thats where I get my biggest and most spectacular experiences. BUT. I think I would learn sooooo much, my worry is, is a 150 pictures to much work? Knowing myself and the time I tend to spend before saying finished, lol. I do know e.g. wedding photographers do loads of pictures, I've always thought about how in the world they're able to do it :)

On the other hand, summer vacation are coming up...

Mai, 150 is a lot... but if you have 2 weeks... say 10 working days... that is processing 15 per day.. With your schedule, is that do-able?? I am guessing yes... :)

You were not specific... is it is 150 individual shots or 150 shots of "people." Peo[ple might be easier... but, I also suspect that you want quality shots because thats who you are... and I commend you, but they are also not going to be like Wedding Portraits so I suspect they will be easier and quicker, more of high quality candids!

If I were you, and could squeeze in 15 photos per day and still have 2 weekends for any final wrap.. I would be thinking of doing it!!

Let us know what YOU decide... :)

I love how you just calculated that! Its totally like my husband. Calculating everything (thats of course why I married him).

Wrote some mails with the guy and said yes. It will probably be very good for me having a hardtime photographing people. I do find it pretty awkward. But maybe that'll be over with after 500 pictures!

They always use the photographers name when using the pictures, and I still own them. I am really happy about the namedropping.

Great Deal! Look forward to seeing the project develop and what your results look like! Happy for you!

How many humans does it take to pose dogs. Its nice to go back and look at where you started. I do this all the time, keep up the good work. I thoroughly enjoy your pictures.

More humans than dogs, I can tell, lol.

When you wrote that, I came to think of these pictures - they are from around 2007 where the Canon Ixus 60 (small digital camera) were my great love: Just love - a set on Flickr
