When my daughter learned the Snowball is now in the dogs heaven, she cried so sadly that almost broke my heart. Yes, as Don said, ia part of a family member is gone. Still it hurts very much.

I'm sad to hear of the loss of your dog Michael. They do become like a member of the family.
I had a Labrador for 15 years, he died almost 10 years ago and I still think about him most days, but they are good memories.
