We are experiencing haze from the burning of plantations in Indonesia. It was so bad that the PSI level shoots above 400 and everybody stayed indoor.

No photography for more than a week and this is not likely to stop any sooner. In some parts of neighboring Malaysia, it hits 750! This is how one neighboring disregards for another can be so extreme. A man made crisis. :culpability:

This is a cheapest way to clear their plantation for their next planting season. They ignore the health issue brought not only to their neighbors but also their own citizens living there.

Corruption is the biggest problem and the Indonesian government just couldn't control.

BTW, Greenpeace is trying to identify the owners of these plantations. I hope they quickly name them and let their clients know who are involved. Hopefully, their clients, mainly the bigger corporations will stop buying their products.

You would think mornings and evenings would offer some interesting effects with the light coming in at an angle. Btw, what is PSI?

That would be the "Pollutant Standards Index"; a measure of air quality, or lack thereof. It's an international standard that was established by the EPA if memory serves.

The top end is 500 but s--t be getting serious at 300.
