Hi. Names Andrew and I'm in South West Scotland, although a native of the North [ Aberdeed area ]. I've been involved in photography for over 45 years and in my time have done my own darkroom work inc, B&W, Colour Negative, Slide and Cibachrome to Deep Tank colour printing. I started out with an old box brownie my father gave me and over the years the bug got bigger than both of us.
From Zenith E's to Olympus OM1's to Canon A1's to Digital Rebels and now to a Nikon D5100.

My photographic interests lie in ' General ' photography although I have done the Camera Club thing for years but no longer.
Being an old soldier, I have a great interest in things military, and travel a lot to Europe to satisfy my photographic cravings. Travel photography is high on my list of things I like to do, and we travel quite a lot - yes I'm retired and spending the kids inheritance. I'm wheelchair dependant so my photography is determined by that these days, or at least the viewpoint is.
I'm still learning and hope to do so from the very fine work I've seen in here whilst previewing the forum. My current passion is Audiovisual presentations.

You can if you wish browse my web site index and have a look.

Thank you for allowing me to join your community.

Welcome aboard Andrew! Scotland is definitely on my list of places to go in the (hopefully) near future. I am a bit jealous you are able to travel to Europe and indulge yourself photographically there, I can only imagine the fantastic things to photograph! I also have a D5100 and I love it dearly, I hope it treats you well for years to come!
