Hello everyone,

I am from Michigan US. I am a stay at home mom to 4 beautiful children. I picked up my first camera DSLR three years ago, but I have always had a camera and a love for photography. I enjoy taking pictures of nature and wildlife, and anything to do with water, a long with my family and friends. I am trying to make a small business out of something I enjoy. I truly believe if you find a job you love, you will never work a day in your life. I am thankful for my husband who has allowed me to pursue a career doing something I love. When I have a spare moment to myself I enjoy educating myself online and learning something new. I recently upgraded cameras so I have been spending a lot of time learning to use it.

I look forward to hanging around and getting to know some of you and learning with you all too.

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to share some of your photos with us. Here is a guide to help you with that

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72ppi (Pixels Per Inch)

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.

Welcome to the website from Kentucky... I think you will really like that D7200. I sure like mine. I ended up buying a companion handbook to go with it. It was a bit easier to work through, But this place has a lot of practical experience. I have been doing it about 18 months and they have helped me learn a lot with direct advice and pointing me in the right direction. Proof and old dog can be taught new tricks :)

Welcome from Oregon. Just returned from a quick trip to Michigan to visit family and couldn't believe that it snowed there a few days ago. Geez ... they are playing ball already. :)

I am looking forward to seeing your photographs in the days and weeks ahead.
