Took this photo this afternoon. There was a man cleaning fish and would occasionally throw a piece of fish to the pelicans and seagulls. Jeff

PLEASE READ THIS!!!!

This is a picture of the Old Mill at Pigeon Forge, Tenn. from a previous trip. We are thinking about going back this Thanksgiving with our two boys and their families. I am looking for suggestions of photo opportunities that I might check out in the area of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. If you have any suggestions please let me know. We will be going to Dollywood and Cades Cove. Dollywood will have 3 or 4 million Christmas lights up starting the week of Thanksgiving and I am a real fan of Christmas lights. Jeff

Taken pre D7000 days with a D90 and Nikon 18-200VR lens.

This is from our visit to Stone Mountain in Georgia. The carved out section covers three acres. It is very deceiving how big it is from this picture or even if you are there looking at it in person. They have an excellent laser light show each night that is really outstanding and well worth seeing. If you would like a little more info on it go HERE. Jeff

This week I was out taking pictures and stopped by where a man was cleaning fish on a pier. Every few minutes he would toss a filet out in the water to a bunch of waiting pelicans but sometimes the seagulls would fly in just a little faster and beat them to the fish. Here is two shots of the same bird, one getting the piece of fish and the second one flying away. It is a classic case of "If you snooze you loose". Jeff

I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for the second picture to load. I decided to scroll down for other posts, when I found the second picture. Also the end QUOTE is before the last picture. BTW, great shots!

You were too quick for me! I noticed it as soon as it posted but it took me a minute to get it fixed. Should be good now Jeff
