One more of my granddaughter from this afternoon. I am trying to get her to come down and model for us next time we have a shoot. I'm starting to like taking people pictures now that I have tried a few.

I was looking through some old pictures and thought this one was worth a re-post. It was taken with my Nikon D7000 using a Tamron 150-600mm at 600mm from sitting in my car at GINS Park in Ocean Springs, Ms. It has a lot of unique detail that I have never seen before or since.

Our club had a photo shoot with my 9 year old granddaughter and this was her first time trying to be a model. She moved from on pose to another without having to be prompted to do anything and she had a great time. Shot with a Nikon D500, Nikon 70-200VR F2.8 lens and a Nikon SB900 on camera flash. I had to repost this to get the pictures to line up right.

We both had a great time and she loved having her picture taken by several people at the same time. We didn't have to get her to pose she just did it all on her own. When I got there I put my D500 on aperture priority at F4.5 with my SB900 on the camera set for high speed sync fill flash and just shot away. I am very happy with the results. Basically after setting up my camera I just framed the shot and pressed the shutter, you can't get much simpler than that!

I was down at the inner harbor today and spotted a couple of young punks hiding in the tall grass, I don't know if they were up to no good or not but they did look suspicious.

I was asked to photograph a 5k run/walk remembering the World Trade Center bombing in support of our police and fireman.. After the run ended at a casino they had the option of going up 23 flights of stair 5 times to replicate going up the stains at the twin towers. It was to support our fireman and police. The little guy in this picture is dressed like the real firefighters outfit along with many other that had taken the walk. He took it upon himself to also do the stair climb without anyone with him. This is a picture of him on his sixth trip up the 23 floors of stairs this night. His dad is the battalion leader for the fire department. He is 11 years old. Needless to say I was VERY impressed with this young man.
