Field of cotton. This is for all you cotton pickers out there! Took this today while out on a drive with my wife.

These days it would be more like just wiping it off.....My doctor told me my issue is that I am about 2 inches taller than my hair.

I could hear it but could not see it because I was sitting in my car taking picture of some egrets. I saw it out of the corner of my eye as it passed the top corner of my window. I had about one to two seconds to get the shot. I just lucked up in getting one of the two fast shots in focus.

Very nice shot of the blue heron Jeff, thats a picture that should go on the wall. I like the framing, lighting, well everything about it.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I am very limited on subjects around here. I would be one HAPPY PHOTOGRAPHER if I lived near Marilynne and all the different subjects she posts.
