Another good one Jeff.. These birds almost seem tame.. Nice Capture...

Pat, all of the birds I photograph are wild but some on the piers are a little more friendly because the get something to eat from the fisherman occasionally. The vast majority are taken with a zoom lens.

Hey Jeff, I knew that (Both that the birds ARE WILD & you usually use a zoom...) If it seemed like I may have been questioning the tame/wild, absolutely not.. Just commenting how un-disturbed they appear...

I have seen that in other wild creatures, especially on our seacost with feeding them fish chunks. Where I have been shooting of late, they are not human conditioned at all!!! If I get out of my truck they are heading across the pond!! :)

That's what happens at the canals. There were 4 turtles sitting on a pipe in a canal. As soon as I stopped the bike, they were in the water and we were on the other side of the street. At the wetlands, they're used to people.

I just have gotten in contact with the Credit Union that wants my pictures to decorate their new branch with on how many pictures they will be needing. Originally they thought it would be about 12 but they just let me know that that number is incorrect and they will be needing 24 different canvas prints from me. Looks like ther might be a new camera in the near future coming my way. I am one happy camper. Fourteen of the 24 will be 24x36inch canvas prints.

I am really excited because the Credit Union looked me up and got in touch with me to do this. Originally they said 10 or 12 photos and it has turned into twenty four and they also want to purchase an additional photo to use in their owners guide brochure. Thanks guys and gals for your support.

That's just great Jeff. Congrats on the sale. It will be nice for you to take your friends to the bank to your photo exhibit :)

And I hope you charge them as much as you can. They don't mind making profit do they.
