I need your help. Look on top of the pole on the right and help me decide if this is a headless Egret or an egg with legs.

Photographic PROOF? Here's your photographic proof....

This is not my photo, but it is the real proof of the scarce and secretive Headless Egret......

Whereas, THIS is your so called "photographic proof" of the Egg with Legs. (Again, not my photo. I believe it is a conceptual drawing of what an Egg with Legs might look like.) This depiction was commissioned and funded by National Geographic.

This is even more rare than the one I took a pictures of because it has little stubby legs instead of long ones like a real Egret.

Obviously, you have never heard of the Stubby-Legged Headless Egret.

That's OK. Don't be embarrassed. Few people have. They are close to extinction.

I believe there are only two left. Both males trying to obtain resident status in New Hampshire.

grandpaw's camera is defective - the thing-ah-ma-jig is out of alinement with the do-hickey, a rare side effect of the bird flu.
Send your camera gear to me asap for quantine. Loaner point-and-shoot will be sent till quarntine period is lifted. No birds will be harmed.

Guess again. I took this with my 50mm 1.8 and three extension tubes. This was sitting on a sticky note on top of my keyboard to my computer when I took it.
