Marilynne, I bet this is one picture that you haven't taken. This is a ceramic dog that I spotted standing next to a wheel of a motor home in a park today.

You would be correct on that Jeff.

Great idea and great shot. They need to put a little puddle of water by the tire to really have people wondering.

Was the cat real? It's checking you out.

Very foggy out today. Within less than five minutes of following this boat to get a closer shot I could not see it at all because of the fog.

I like the fog shot!!! I have taken some but not that good... I think the blue boat hull helps!

Pat in NH

Pat, I was pleased how it came out also. I'm not sure if I have tried taking pictures of boats in the fog before but I have to agree that I think that the blue hull works well here. Within just a few minutes of taking this picture I could not even see an outline of the boat in the fog. I just parked my car and sat for awhile before I took off again.

I took this while sitting and waiting for the fog to clear. This is a picture of this bird sitting on a rail of a fishing pier with heavy fog behind it. Not very far behind this bird is a six lane bridge that you can't see due to the thick fog.

I mentioned a while back about someone contacting me about using some of my photos in their magazine. The picture of the train and the picture of the boats are both mine and have a photo credit at the bottom of each picture. These can be found in the "Rouse's Everyday magazine" on the bottom left of page. It can be found on page 55 in the November & December edition HERE.

Thanks Allan! I might need to explain the shot with the train in it. It is apox. 70ft to 80ft long and I am taking the picture handheld. What you are seeing is the train on the far bank of a pond and you are seeing the reflection of the train upside down in the water.
