I posted this in the forum I discovered the problem in and I am also posting a copy of my post here for everyone to read.

I AM DONE POSTING PICTURES FOR AWHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!! madcapmagishion is stealing my pictures and posting them as his own. I have now found additional sites and additional pictures of mine posted by him and I am THOROUGHLY PO'd!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the BIGGEST LOW LIFE I have ever run in to. Get out the blood pressure medicine. I won't say what is really on my mind out of respect for others on this site.

Jeff just go back to that hedgehog forum or whatever it is click on his name and click on his recent posts and read all of them. Then you will understand. One of the things that I found surprising in his posts was mention of Roger Hicks and how Roger Hicks used to post on that forum but MCM hadn't seen him for like 3 or 4 months. I wonder why. Roger Hicks is a highly esteemed photography author BTW. A forum would be lucky to have a guy like him around. I mean like he writes for Shutterbug regularly you know. Go look at all of those posts and you'll understand a lot of things.

To put it to you plain and simple and I am going to violate one of the rules of this forum and talk about someone directly and personally. MCM has a few aperture blades missing...he is even worse than me...LOL

I would just like to say that I notified the administrator on the Ugly Hedgehog[SUP]SM[/SUP] - Photography Forum about my alligator picture and they responded by removing it. I would like to commend them for taking care of this and doing it quickly. There are other pictures on the site that I will be asking them about that are mine also.

Let me add that I DO NOT plan on leaving the Nikonites site and hope to be here for a long time because I have made many new friends here and enjoy being part of this site. The problem with pictures being taken can and will happen on ANY site or location on the internet so don't blame this site for the problem. Since I have been on Nikonites site I have had nothing but people willing to answer my questions or help me accomplish things that I didn't seem to be able to figure out for myself. I will still be participating in the forums and as soon as I figure out how to make and place watermarks I will be posting pictures again. This is a very friendly site and I enjoy being a part of it. My pictures will have much smaller file sizes and watermarks on them in the future.

Don't let this person spoil all the fun, I am just trying to figure out a way to deal with it the best way I can. As the old saying goes"Don't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch".

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to post pictures. This is one of three wild turkeys that I spotted in the woods.

Jeff, I really like this.. it has a somewhat eerie effect... did you adjust color intensity down at all in processing?? You even caught a ripple in the water! Nice photo. I like the effect.

Thanks

Well I got some more good news yesterday! I was contacted by a webmaster for a large credit union and they want to use some of my pictures on their website and change them out with other photos of mine on an on going basis. He found some pictures on my website and got in touch with me about using them. I was out shooting yesterday trying to get some additional Christmas scenes that he wanted and took a few pictures of the marina while I was waiting for the sun to go down.

Pat, I adjusted the marina shot a little bit but not much. The ripple in the water was from a fish that had just jumped.

I have had four people use some of my pictures in the last five or six weeks, three contacted me and ask to use them legitimately and one used them without asking. Things are looking up!
