Jeff, you've got so many great photos. Thanks for showing to us

Michael, I'm glad you like them. I have said it before but I will say it again that I very much enjoy visiting your country through all the great images that you post. Your photos give me a chance to visit and experience a place I will never get to see in person. THANKS!!!

A friend of mine and I went to the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola today. This is four full size Blue Angels planes in formation hanging from the second story ceiling.

Next week on Wednesday the 16th I will be getting a cataract removed from my left eye and a multi focal lens placed in my eye. This will be followed up next month on October the 14th with getting my right eye done. I should be able to see much better and maybe improve my photography a little bit.

These lenses are a new type that are supposed to give me good close up, medium and long range vision and also he will be able to correct my astigmatism while installing these. I should no longer need to wear glasses. It is going to cost me the price of a couple D750 cameras and a nice lens. This will completely shut down any photography budget for a long time. Good thing is that I should be able to see all the boo-boos in my past pictures and start correcting a few things.

That will be great... I need reading glasses for close-up but that is it... I just have normal distance lenses... :)

My mother bless her had her cataracts done and said it saved her the cost of a new carpet, she thought the old one was faded and smudged before getting them done.

Had both of my eyes done over the course of the last year and could not more pleased. The only negative I can report is the need to wear polarized sunglasses almost all the time now due to more light reaching my eyes, but that is a small price to pay for improved sight. Best of luck to you Jeff. The new lens transplants sound really good.

Thanks everyone, I am looking forward to seeing "Pun intended" what the difference will be. Each person that I have talked with that has had this done praises the outcome and says I will be very happy with the results. It sure will be nice not having to mess with glasses anymore.
