Didn't shoot any fireworks in Ocean Springs last night but I did get some at Walt Disney World this past Thanksgiving. This is my first and only attempt at shooting fireworks. F16, ISO 100 at 6 seconds.

Thanks Marilynne and Chris. This is my second time to try shooting fireworks. I wanted a more interesting foreground but was too late getting there to get the spot I wanted. It had been raining earlier and was supposed to have thunder storms at the time of the fireworks but ended up only having some lightning off in the distance. I am happy with the actual fireworks but would have like a better foreground.

Scott, I don't understand what you are saying to do.
What I am trying to say is that there seems to be too much orange in the images and adding to the bluer side/cooler side of the colour temperature may result in other colours popping out. Easier way to say it is adjust the white balance so its a bit cooler.

I see what you are saying. I just want to say that I value your opinion and welcome any comments that you may offer on my images. Thanks, Jeff

Thanks Jeff, if it is no better than no harm but I think these are great fireworks photos and I want you to showcase them with their full potential. I think with my fireworks and same as my lightning shots I set a determined WB something like cloudy or close to, as lights flash intensity of fireworks can put off the automatic WB.

Scott, the first one is the new version and the second one is the original. Not sure I made much of a change, give it a try if you like.

A couple of pictures from our family outing yesterday. This is at the Institute of Marine Mammals Studies in Gulfport, Ms. First photo is my wife with grandson Noah petting a shark and the second picture is my grandson Christian and granddaughter Naudia with a stingray. We had a great time.
