Nice flower Jeff, but it looks like a Lotus flower to me. Good to see your shots back on the forum.

It very well could be. I ask one of the rangers in the park what it could be and she said it was probably a lilly. I was very pretty and about the size of a plate.

Well I am back from my first treatment of getting chemo for 56 hours in Houston. I have had zero bad side effects and actually feel better, and not anywhere near as tired as before chemo. I didn't have any chance to take pictures so I have nothing to post other than everything went VERY WELL on my first treatment. Glad to be back, Jeff

Jeff, just catching up here after the move... this is all good news... welcome back!

I was desperate to take a picture of something so I took a photo of one of our cats. Nikon D600 with Nikon 70-200VR lens with a 2x teleconverter talen at 1/320 sec at ISO 25,100 and it was hand held.

Nice. Almost got the same shot today Jeff, but by the time I got off my bike and got the camera out of its case, the heron was gone. I pedaled around to the other side of the lake and it took off before I stopped my bike.
