I do show different pictures every time I post but I will apologize for having such limited subjects with the birds but there is just not much of a variety where I live.

Blue Heron on the fishing pier. I have had the Nikon 50mm f1.8 for several years and never used it so today I thought I would give it a try to see what it could do.

Blue Heron and a Sea Gull taken with my D600 and a 50mm f1.8 lens. straight out of camera except to crop and resize.

Taken this morning with my D7000 and 70-300VR lens. This is a fairly large frog.

Went to my Doctor today to get the results of my biopsy and they were inconclusive so she will be sending them to another lab. Hopefully the specimens are still good enough because if they aren't I will have to go through another biopsy to get some more. She seems to think it is lymphoma but won't know until confirmed.

Well whether t is or is not, they have great treatments these days to deal with these things, so stay positive Jeff and know that everyone here is pulling for you. We are looking forward to seeing many more posts from you.

I would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers about my biopsy. It REALLY DOES make a difference knowing that I have friends that care and are wishing me well. A very big thanks to everyone.
