Graduation ceremony

I am new to photography. It's taken me three years to find the proper settings for sports until I was happy with the photos I went home with. I have my sons graduation ceremony today in a darkened theater and have no idea what lens or settings to use as that's a far cry from football and rugby outside!
i have a D7100 with a 35mm, 50-200mm and a 70-300mm. Can anyone help me with the proper settings and which lens to use? I tried to take some at a play in the same theater and gave up, the pictures were awful. I would really appreciate input. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum, you are well out of my area of photography with inside shots but i will ask the question what ISO did you try the theater with,i see you have the D7100 and will work with high ISOs

Hopefully some one will be along in time :D but the main two problems i see are you will need to look at ISO a lot higher and your lenses may struggle to focus.
