GPS

I'd appreciate recommendations regarding a GPS unit for my D600. Amazon only offered one and there were complaints about the cable breaking. (I don't recall the brand right now)
I'm a recreational user and cost is important.

You might look into an Unleashed, by Foolography from Germany. It does GPS as well as being able to control the camera settings from your phone via an app. At $259.00, it might be a little more than you want to spend, but mine works as advertised. Solmeta also makes one. I had that one on my D7100, and it also worked well. Both units will also geotag your location every xx seconds to keep track of your travels if you want to. Those are also above $200.00. I don’t know of any units that are less expensive. Good luck in your search.
