Got a little side tracked

The weather has been and looks like continuing to be very unsettled,last week i bought a couple of budgerigars (parakeets in the USA i think ) for my mother in law,she is nearly blind and house bound if no one takes her out,she is over the moon with them,i get to do the looking after as she cant,
Over 40 years ago i had aviary's and breed foreign finches,British finches and canaries the contact with these two budgies has set me off with the desire to get involved again,not going to start in a big way but spent yesterday rearranging the front room to make space for an indoor flight,possibly the one below.

With being so out of touch with what is available now and new ideas of caring for them i have been doing a lot of research,this will include going to a bird auction today.
Photography is perhaps on the back burner as they say for a couple of weeks.

Make sure you take your camera with you to the auction. We'd like to see those birdies!!

That looks like a nice set up. I like watching birds also (The other day I remember thinking to myself, I can't believe I'm sitting out here watching birds).

I still prefer mine outside. I just bought a new two story 12 room birdhouse that I hope to get put up today. (outside)

Unfortunately if i kept birds outside some pratt would break in and steal them.
