Hey curt, any idea on a diffuser for the speedlight? They don't sell it specific for this flash cause it ain't Nikon or cannon...haha I've been creeping amazon but have no clue.

There is a diffuser on the speed light just pull it out and flip it down. there is a white card you can pull out as well to bounce the light.

Finally got it, haven't really messed around but very simple to use, much much better then the flip flash on the camera. I can't wait to start putting it to work once I move home. Will post pics when I actually get to test it, waiting on my wireless relievers.

Thanks curt ;)

Let us know how you like it, right now I am out of town on business, but took my Nikon along and my Tt520 speed light. Hope to get a good shot or two while away..lol. I am sure you will be very happy with the Godox TT 520.
Did you order the Blazzeo radio trigger?

Nope..I ordered Cowboy Studios from amazon, they were a bit cheaper then the blazeo, im sort of on a budget right now and 50 bucks was just a tad too much. Got these for 25 shipped. The reviews were good on them from amazon so ill see how it goes.

And yes I know it was just another 25 bucks for the blazeo but oh well....

So I have messed around with the Godox and the Yungnuo flashes and I have to say they work great, very simple to use. Only difference in the two is the godox flash head is very long compared to the yungnuo, ill post a pic later. I have def noticed a difference in my pictures with the flash.

The cowboy triggers work awesome, tested it through a wall and it still fired, there tiny which is a plus. And with my flashes they both work in M mode when triggered off the camera instead of s1 and s2. Will post some shots tomorrow. Overall happy with the flash, thanks curt for the find

Your welocome :). The S1 & S2 are slave modes and work with TTL, I use the S modes with my CLS (Nikon).
Glad everything is working well for you, good luck with it and happy shooting :).

So far so good with the godox!. Itsworking awesome with my other yunguo and so are the recievers!

I will be posting some pics later, only thing that kinda sucks is the power levels are a bit different so kinda hard to figure out when there equal but none the less there coming out good! :)

Great to hear keep us posted on how they are working, like to see some of your pics. For the price the TT 520 is hard to beat. I use mine all the time.
As you said it's very simple to use.

I'm looking into getting one of these within the next week. I read that the Yongnuo 460ii is a little shorter which I like but what would you guys recommend between the Godox and Yongnuo?

I got em both and they work honestly the same, the only difference is the size between the two and the godox has more power levels than the yungnuo.

So its all up to you I guess, the yungnuo is a bit cheaper.

And the godox took 3 weeks for me to get it since it came from hong kong. But maybe that was just a mistake that usps made.

Hm... I found the Godox and Yongnuo at about the same price point so that's why I asked. I don't need a million power levels, the 7 levels in 1/7ths increments seems like it would be fine for me. I've never worked with an off-camera or hotshoe flash so I'm basically walking blind at the moment. I do have a D3100 and would like a smaller flash to compliment the smaller frame of the camera though. Looks like I may be leaning towards the 460ii... Any more opinions are greatly appreciated.

Well, I guess the flurry of activity in this thread has died off. I went ahead and ordered the Yongnuo 460ii so it should be here in 3-8 days. I went with that over the Godox due to size (D3100 is relatively small) and the quickness of shipping. I wasn't about to wait almost a month for a flash. I'm just now getting into the Strobist site and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the 460ii and if it has a PC port or at least a way to fire off-camera? I can't wait to step my game up. :D

Well I have the Godox TT520 it only took one week to get and it works great.
Very simple to use, great flash output. I don't know about the Yongnuo 460i.
But I know the TT520 is hard to beat at the price.

The Yongnuo 460ii showed up (either yesterday or this morning). Super-quick shipping if you ask me, only a day or 2 to get here. I'm glad I went with the Yongnuo over the Godox just from shear size. Mounted on my D3100 this thing looks gigantic and apparently the Godox is even bigger. Initial thoughts are all positive though, definitely looks like a solid piece. Going to throw some batteries in it and take some shots a little later.
