Recently got one of these with a set of gels too.
great little flash and work TTL on and off camera.
You put the small trigger in the flash shoe, the the flash unit attaches magnetically. When you pull off the flash, it communicates via WiFi to the trigger.
You can use the same it32 flash with other systems…all you need is the trigger. X5 N is Nikon, X5S Sony, X5C Canon and now X5L Leica
it also works on my Hasselblat X2Dii but only on camera with TTL.

I have the Godox 685 with the Xpro trigger for Nikon. The flash works very well. The trigger works quite well, also. It does, however, have a learning curve. Once you get the secret handshake down, it's fairly smooth sailing.

That looks like a nice, simple system for remote flash operation. Could use a little more power for my needs, but probably enough for lots of folks. I'm trying to push F16, F22 through a hefty diffusion system and still maintain ISO 100-200. Fortunately, I'm shooting very close to my subjects, which is the saving grace. On the other hand, I am normally shooting anywhere from 1/8 to 1/2 power, so I could probably make it work.

My daughter would undoubtedly love the simplicity of this system. I kind of beat my head against it for a while, and I'm somewhat of a tech guy.

Interesting design. Wonder if they will make some kind of dummy so you could mount it off camera.

My Godox 685 and my daughter's 350 both came with an adapter that was a small stand with a cold shoe for mounting the flash, and a 1/2-20 tripod mount on the bottom. You can mount the flash on it and either set it on a horizontal surface, or mount it on a tripod. Handy.

Watched the video and it looks like it the foot will mount on the flash even if the transmitter portion is on the camera.
