Giga T Pro II - Disables Front Menus Issue

Hey guys.
So I spent about an hour last night trying to google this issue with no results. Tried different key words as well but nothing. So my last option is to post on a forum and hopefully somebody can help me.

I purchased this Giga T pro and its great for what I need. There is only one downside (which is a huge issue for me).
Once I have it plugged into the Nikon (using 10 pin connector) all my front camera controls seem to be disabled. So I cannot press Play or access menu or anything until I unplug.
The strange there is there were several times where I had access so I wonder if this is a glitch on my side or if the controller is garbage and I need to return it asap?

If anybody has any input I would really really appreciate it.

Not familiar with the Giga T Pro but that doesn't sound right to me at all.

You might want to consider using a Vello Shutterboss Wireless instead.

Hey guys. Just wanted to give a status update so if anybody might have an issue like this in the future here is what my solution was.

It was the 10 pin wire itself. The remote was fine. I swapped out wire for a new one and it fixed the problem.

So if anybody ever plugs in a 10 pin wire into their nikon and their front controls dont work check it with another wire. (I included this last part in case somebody googles it, hopefully that helps bring up this thread.)
