The three S lenses 14-30 ƒ/4, 24-120 ƒ/4 and 100-400 ƒ/4.5-5.6 really form a perfect trio for travel and general photography, in my opinion. Better image quality than the F-mount Holy Trinity, double the reach at the long end —and lighter in the bag, too. The only downside is the modest aperture, but with the kind of photography I most often do, it is not a problem, and I can always bring a fast prime along if needed.
