Only improvement I could suggest (hope you don't mind) is perhaps adjust for lens distortion to make the side buildings more vertical it looks like they are leaning in.

I see what you mean. Think you made the right call.

Guess thats why people who make their living out of architectural shots go for Tilt-shift lenses.
Only alternative would be to use a longer lens and go further back but that is often not possible.
