We pay about 1.1/1.2 euro (some 1.4$) for a liter. That's 0.26 gallon.
No reason to complain in the US.![]()
I think there's something wrong with your math. A gallon is about 4 liters, so it cost you about $5.60 a gallon?
I'm saving $10/Week on fuel these days and my wallet loves it. Probably a good time to hedge bets by picking up a few shares of large integrated oils such as XOM, CVX, BP, COP, etc. or oil services firms like SLB or Exchange Traded Funds like XLE. There will be some rough sledding, but the large oil companies often pay a solid dividend and eventually oil prices, and earnings will rise.
Of course Mr. Market is a fickle fellow and crude could move a lot lower.![]()
$2.59 out here by Pittsburgh, 1.89 at my parents house two hours north and west.On New Year's Eve, our gas was $2.34 per gallon. One of the TV stations said Pennsylvania would be adding a 10 cent per gallon gas tax starting on Jan. 1st so I filled up both vehicles...only to find the price was still the same today.
Your $1.69 per gallon looks pretty darned good, Blacktop!![]()
