I think there's something wrong with your math. A gallon is about 4 liters, so it cost you about $5.60 a gallon?

It's not my math that's wrong, it's the taxes on gas. ;)

Diesel 1.05 euros, the normal gas 1.16 to 1.26 here. For a liter.

I'm saving $10/Week on fuel these days and my wallet loves it. Probably a good time to hedge bets by picking up a few shares of large integrated oils such as XOM, CVX, BP, COP, etc. or oil services firms like SLB or Exchange Traded Funds like XLE. There will be some rough sledding, but the large oil companies often pay a solid dividend and eventually oil prices, and earnings will rise.

Of course Mr. Market is a fickle fellow and crude could move a lot lower.

Agreed, oil is like gold or real estate. It might dip, but it'll come back

On New Year's Eve, our gas was $2.34 per gallon. One of the TV stations said Pennsylvania would be adding a 10 cent per gallon gas tax starting on Jan. 1st so I filled up both vehicles...only to find the price was still the same today.

Your $1.69 per gallon looks pretty darned good, Blacktop! ;)

$1.97 for regular in middle TN.

Included in that is a 21.4 cent fuel tax that they are currently considering raising then a 9.75% sales tax.

When I got on the Bus today I noticed the local convenience stores price was $2.54 per Gal. in Erie Pennsylvania. In the U.S. Pennsylvania has the 2nd highest gas tax at 72 cents per gal, only California beats us by a penny or 2, if yo go about 90 miles west of my fair town gas is selling for $1.97 in Ohio and their tax is only 27 cents per Gal.

Being bleed dry in Erie PA. Patrick :sorrow:

What's interesting to me is that your regular unleaded is cheaper than mine, but my premium unleaded is cheaper than yours. We are at $1.84 for regular, and $2.14 for premium.
