Fruit of Okinawa

I've never shared any work here, but today another photographer and I collaborated and did a "Fruit of Okinawa," concept shoot. This was her baby and she was kind enough to let me play, too! I'm more of a family/children, etc portrait photographer, but this was a lot of fun!

Nice job. The last image has a bitter melon. I wouldn't bite that one if I were you. ;)

How did you arrange your light set up?

Hahaha.. the bitter melon has a super tart smell, so I def didn't try that one. :)
The lighting was set up with two off camera flashes to the right and left and two softboxes with strobes in front of the models, with one high, pointing down and one directly at them. I didn't use that set up though, as for some reason we couldn't get her triggers to work with my camera, and I only had one with me... so I pulled out my 910 and either bounced it or used my softbox on my flash... :)

I also find it challenging on how to illuminate the white background. I also get a light grayish color if you don't illuminate it with a strobe or flash.

Yes, the other photographer's photos, the bg was very white and nice... but I had to deal with the light grey. lol I'm still pretty happy with them.
