Korzok village.It was very cold.Had a hard time.

from shores of Tso Moriri situated at an altitude of 4,522 m (14,836 ft)


Shortcuts used.Just before reaching Tso Moriri lake


Roads getting washed out and landslides.They had to make this new road


Black top road got washed out.at the far end u can see.Very inhospitable environment with high risk factor

Monks at Thiksey Monastery.The views are breathtaking

This biker group had come here all the way from Bhutan


The road just disappears.Terrific blinders all over the place

We were walking thru the narrow alleys of Turtuk when a few school children passed by us.They were like photo photo.At first we did not get them properly.We thought they wanted water or something.this one pointed towards the camera.Bingo

There is a monastery right on the hill.Very difficult to reach there

Right beside the Diskit monastery there is this stream.The monks used to go down to fetch water.There are wooden staircases.The descend is around 100-150ft.Quite scary
