The Pup and I got up early and made it down to a state park on the ocean. Got some good laughing gull pictures, and then decided to stop by the boneyard beach on the way back. I decided not to bring all my gear with me, since I would just be taking pictures of the trees in the surf. Near the end of our shoot, the Pup told me to turn around and look up. There was a bald eagle in the tree not far from me. A gull was screeching at it, and dive bombing the much larger bird. The eagle seemed unconcerned, unlike the photographer whose telephoto lens was sitting in the trunk of the car 20 minutes walk both ways. I tried to get something with my 24-70, but..............
