Today, while taking photographs in downtown Cleveland, one of my lenses rolled out of my bag and landed directly on the cement sidewalk. Which lens was it?

Does what still work. You didn't vote.

The lens. Yes I did vote, I voted for the Tokina.
Voters 1. You have already voted on this poll

Some guy at Wako dropped 3 lenses on the asphalt and they still worked afterwards.

I'm guessing the 85mm. Why? you may ask... Because I have no clue so I closed my eyes and took a shot.
I do hope it survived the fall.

I'm going with the 16-35, because with my luck, it would be the most expensive one in the bag!

What kind of bag was it and are you now shopping for a new one?

I'm sorry, perhaps I am a little dense this morning, but what exactly is the purpose of this thread?

I don't believe one is required. I guess fotojack and ohkphoto can make up a new rule that requires a purpose. But I'd hope they have more important things to do. No body forces you to participate, or even read it for that matter. Beyond that, I have no other reason.

A way we can have some fun at some one else's expense.

I hope it survived whichever lens it was.

tsk . . .tsk . . . feeling a little "testy", are we? I guess I would be, too, if I dropped any one of my lenses. Sorry for your "loss" . . . hope you have a better day soon.

You have to actually take photos to really worry about something like this.

Make up your mind . . . either you want people participating or not. It was a legitimate question and it was YOUR typo that prompted it.

If he couldn't vote it's because the site didn't let him, not me. As a "super moderator", why don't you look in to it instead my ragging on other's threads.

. . . and with that we'll just end the discussion. FYI, threads on this forum are not your "personal property."

Thread closed, since it's not going in any productive direction.
