This is one of the many traditional Portuguese dishes called "Favas Guisadas com entrecosto" which in English is Braised broad beans with spare ribs.

Lol! Unfortunately we weren't celebrating something quite that spectacular, Pup. My wife spent the last year and a half rockin' a set of Invisiline braces to straighten out a snaggle tooth that annoyed the hell out of her. She just finished the series last week, and she was over the moon happy with how great it looks. So she asked for a spread of things she couldn't eat for the last 15 months - and this was it. Since it was also just a day or two away from our 21st wedding anniversary, we decided to add the bubbly :)

Surprisingly not LOL ;). We are famous for our deep fried Mars bars and Irn Bru :playful:. I can confirm I have never had one of those fried Mars bars though :eek:.

It is garlic bread in a Croatian restaurant. I don't actually like it but my wife loves it.
