Flower after recent showers

Had some showers today and after they were done I was able to isolate this subject. Thanks for looking and any comments/critique left.

Include as much info as possible along with your image, including:

• EXIF data
• Location
• Intent/artistic interpretation of the photograph

Only PP I did was some balancing of the levels and lighting. And that was only slight adjustments because I dont have a diffuser yet and the flash drowned out some of the color.

Water drops add a nice touch - many pros use a spray bottle to get the effect when needed. I am assuming you used a flash and might suggest that try a reflector to decrease or eliminate the shadows. I like the composition and the dark background - nice job!

Thanks for the advice. I will research the proper use of reflectors as well.
