First time feedback

This is my first image I thought worthy of feedback. It is from the south rim of the grand canyon. It was 90 degrees and full sun. I would appreciate any tips on composition and technical details that you can provide. If you have never been to the canyon, make sure you add it to your must see list!

Good shot. I like the contrast between lower right and the background, but I feel the background is a little dark.

As it displays the brighter lower right pulls your eye as the subject, but the whole image is the subject.

A little tweaking to bring out some colors from the rocks would be nice and maybe accentuate the shadows.

Nice shot though.
