first shots with my D5100

Here are a few shots I took since buying my new camera. Taken on auto but that will change as I learn the camera. I had a hard time deciding between getting the D3100 and the D5100. I am very happy with my decision. Love the camera.

Thank You, thats my Grand Daughter and her puppie. I tried to edit my post to delete the first pictures because I uploaded them at 300dpi, so I deleted them and uploaded at 72.dpi and now there seems to be attachments showing also. Wonder whats up with that?

It saved the "original" as an attachment... go in and select edit, scroll down to manage attachments and you will see 8 files listed Select "manage" and you can delete teh 4 originals... (if you can tell which are which! :)

Thanks Pat, I was able to correct the problem with the help of your info.

Thank you for the compliment. I absolutely am working on getting off auto pilot. I will have some shots posted shortly that i will have done on manual. I find that I feel a lot more satisfaction when I produce a good picture when I shoot it on full manual.
