Snow at roughly 2:1 macro

I tried this in B&W and couldn't tell the difference.

Playing with the J1 this a afternoon. Couldn't get this little feller to come down and play with us, so had to settle for this shot.....

Moon's evidently do grow on trees. There's one in the middle appears to be going thru a some sort of molt, maybe getting ready to fall off and grow even bigger.

Planted this in Scott's World of December thread, but thought it deserved a plant here as well. This is a two shot vertical pan.

OK. Same tree. Used 6 shots with 2 horizontal and 3 vertical, just to see what could be done. Think they should have been overlapped more, maybe cut down on the distortion at the bottom. Does seem to give a better idea of the size of the tree.

Nailed my first good BIF shot using the 40mm Micro. I barely caught it as it flew past.........
