This week I got a double dose of photography endorphin rush. You may remember the photos I had been posting of the Robin family who were living under my deck. I had also posted them on my Facebook page. One of my Facebook Friends is the Media Director for a local newspaper. Long story short he ask me if he could them and I gave him permission (no I did not give up the copyright) Well the Editor liked them as well so today they made front page.

Earlier this week I had sent a photo to a local naturalist to see if I could get a good ID of the animal as I was not sure if it was a Fisher or a Mink. They are both in this area but also not common and in fact I have never seen one before. Anyway he responded that it was indeed a mink. (to bad I didn't know I could have started a coat for my wife) This gentleman does a segment on one of our local TV stations called Jack Hubley's Wild Moments, where he discusses local wildlife and encounters in nature. He has ask to use my story and photo of the mink when he begins his new season this fall. It will be fun to watch that segment when it airs.

Well the endorphin high seems to be fading now so I guess I will finish by saying it is always nice when others enjoy your photos as much as you do. Keep on shooting!!!!
