I do like to smart buy..I do a lot of research on anything I buy..Im sure somethings are over-rated and over-priced..I read reviews after reviews from owners...I think paying $2400 for the Nikon 70mm-200mm 2.8 vr2 is nuts..But I want one..lol I see your point, but at the same time you have some very expensive gear as well..So a $600 Mola should not be that big of a deal..Like I said before,im going back and forth between the 22inch Mola Demi and 28inch Mola Setti..It is a $300 difference...The setti's cons are its weight..No other cons..Twice as many people have bought the Demi(22inch) and are very happy with it..

Touche! FYI, I agree that the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VRII is expensive but when I bought it, the base price was much lower around $2,200 and I bought it with the D7000 which added an additional $300 off with the instant rebate offer.

No worries..But honestly the quality of the light is like no other..Craig and Rene' own these dishes and said they are worth every penny..Emily Soto is a big user of the setti. I want Santos job..ha

We're jealous... I am at least. I have 3 speed lights, cause they're a lot cheaper than studio flashes. One day.... lol.
Not really. An Einstein is less than a Nikon SB-910. And a lot more flexible. Yes, you are going to buy more accessories for it and it isn't quite as portable but bang for the buck the Einstein wins out over a speed light. I won't even tell you how much I have spent on PCB gear.

:) Two Einsteins for my main lights (want to get a 3rd one), one B400 Alien Bee for backdrop, kicker, or hair light (should have gotten a third Einstein). I also have an ABR800 ringflash which I use occasionally. I use a Cyber Commander to control the lights but I actually trigger them with a CST in the hot shoe (I want to be able to move around with the Cyber Commander). The transceiver modules for the Einsteins and CSRB+ receiver modules for the Alien Bees and speed lights if I need to use them. Modifiers include 51" PLM soft silver umbrellas, 22" white beauty dish, background reflector, barn doors, snoots, grids and probably a few things that I am forgetting. a Vagabond Mini portable power pack and carry bags for most of it. I need to get a couple of soft boxes this year. I am a gear nerd and like to experiment to see what I can accomplish but have the problem of working from home and having a job that often has me working weekends and evenings leaving little time for what I would rather be doing which is photography.

Just ordered the 22 inch Mola Demi...Wanted the Setti but this BD should still produce some great results..Also will be better for location shoots..Gonna put the Plus $300 I saved from not getting the Setti and buying the vagabond mini to power the Einstein on location..
