thanks mate , i like it too , i liked the bridge and was going to sub out dots/diagaonals etc for bridges , happy to get home and start working on it and seeing the arches lol , saved me a sub , i do that with the challenge , shoot for an idea and then go through the list and see if it matches something else better , only mistake i made was shooting at f5.6 at iso 100 , could of closed it down a couple of stops and raised iso to 400 for sharper backround even thought the arches are the subject i still wanted my son sharp

exited to get back to sydney to caddy the weekend , saturday the Eastlake amatuer and sunday the jubilee cup at bowral , home of don bradman , last weekend my son came 2nd out of 100 lost by one shot considering they are all top class amatuers hes knocking on the door now , honing in on them now he has five tournies under the belt , 41st, 41st , 53rd , 7th , 2nd so far and still not playing anywhere near his best , wont be long now

ill be looking for at least four shots to add to the photobook for his coach here is the link , comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated ArtisanState ? Photobook Preview

ill be targeting MOTION (bunker shot capturing ball and sand in flight)depending on weather , need fluffy white sand with clear skies
the others will have to present themselves as im not sure what the course will offer me

waiting in the locker room for the rest of the field to come in , was leading all day until the second last group , the winner had a hole in one on the sixth to win , apparently it hit about 8 foot short on a back to front hard sloped green and ran forward into the hole , irony is if it was hit pure it would of spun of the green and we get the win , but thats golf lol , it was the other guys lucky day. second is still a good result , the last four tournaments have been 7th 2nd 7th (we think had to leave) and 2nd again , four top tens against quality fields in the last four starts , all going well he should be pushing for pro by the end of they year.

used two exposures to get the shot , the window was just too bright , merged them together with photoshop , the 50mm 1.8 is a great little lens.

havent had a chance to do much photography on the golf course lately , this one is from the weekend , two tournaments played , 4th and 6th results without playing to his potential

ive substituted dots dashes and diagonals as i couldnt think of anything relating to golf for that theme, the substitute is 'PROUD" , if anyone has any suggestions on a better substitute title to fit the image id like to hear it as its going in a book for his coach

my son just picked up sponsorship from srixon so waiting on his new clubs to take a photo and work it into my themes , might be another substitute called NEW

this is an image of his coach that has coached him for the last ten years for free , he attends most tournaments and is one of the best guys you could ever meet , the photobook at the end of this challenge will be for him, there is no one prouder except myself

c and c always welcome

What about mentor if you are looking for single word.
